On Tuesday 21st July, Year 11 Business Studies will be running a Market Day. They will be selling delicious food such as fruit toasties, cupcakes, slices, Indian food, cookies, hot chips, lollies and hot chocolate. This Market Day is an assessment task for the students which will give them first hand experience in running a business and will test their entrepreneurial abilities. They have had to develop a Business Plan and after completing the Market Day will have to complete their financial records, including an Income Statement and an evaluation of their business.
The Market Day will operate during Breaks 1 and 2 tomorrow (Tuesday Week 2 21st July 2015).
