Careers Day 2018

On the 23 May our school ran the 2018 Careers Day with an array of involved and supportive community professionals.  In partnership with the Woolgoolga and Northern Beaches Chamber of Commerce, our Careers Day has run for the past eight years.

Last Wednesday saw over 80 industry professionals present 30 minute workshops. The 52 career sessions ranged from medical professions, through to animation, speech pathology, plumbing and carpentry to mention a few.

The feedback from presenters was exceptional, with many commenting that it was 'the best' Careers Day so far. Students similarly praised the day and their feedback was most positive. 

All students in Year 10 attended as did those students in Years 11 and 12 who wished to have a look at three careers that they may not have had the opportunity to visit when they were in Year 10.
